Pitbull + Iggy Azalea @ Van Andel Arena 8 . 30 . 22

Miami native Armando Christian Pérez, better known as Pitbull a.ka. Mr. Worldwide, a.k.a Mr. 305, performed to a packed house at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan Tuesday night.

Iggy Azalea opened the evening with her debut single “Work” from her first studio album, The New Classic. She continued to work the stage leading four provocative dancers in hip swaying, booty shaking choreographed unity.

Azalea’s set list consisted of hits “Black Widow”, “Impossible is Nothing”, “Goddess”, “No Mediocre”, among others, and topped off her performance with “I’m so Fancy.”

Pitbull wasted no time by starting his set with “Don’t stop the party” and continued his high energy show with club anthems “Hotel Room”, “International Love”, “On the Floor”, “I like it”, “Culo”, “Time of our Lives”, and several more.

Mr. Worldwide paid tribute to his fans throughout the evening for their “love, support, and opportunity”, and provided uplighting inspirational quotes to live by:

“If you don’t know where you’re from, you don’t know where you’re going.”

“Live life, don’t let life live you.”

“When the going get tough, the tough get tougher.”

Pitbull’s performance consisted of over twenty of hits, including paying tribute to artists Bon Jovi, Jennifer Lopez, and Daddy Yankee and others. He capped the evening with “Give me Everything” and showered the crowd with confetti.

The “Can’t Stop Us Now” Tour is a feel good time the entire time, and I can almost guarantee Mr. 305 will make you shake your hips at one point in the evening, if not the entire evening.

Dale!
